letterheads 2010 brings together 26 contemporary artists to each re-envision a single letter of the english alphabet, creating a collection that explores the influence of the ubiquitous letterform in all aspects of contemporary art. the lineup of high profile and emerging artists represent the fields of illustration, cartooning, fine art, graffiti, street art and graphic design from around the globe. artists include graeme base, meggs, ghostpatrol, james reka, anthony lister, kid zoom, sync, jagi, bonsai, twoone, phibs and more. all works are done on framed paper. a limited edition alphabet book of the artwork will be available for purchase at the opening too. these are already selling like hotcakes so get in fast. the official opening is on friday 26 february 2010 6pm-10pm at 1000 pound BEND, 361 little lonsdale st, melbourne. curated by alexander mitchell and james reka, check LTRHDS.COM for more info.
